Yoga for Lymphatic Health
Lisa has been studying both yoga and the lymphatic system since 1987. These interests have led her to develop sequences for improving lymphatic circulation and reducing inflammation in the body. Starting a yoga practice, or returning to one after an absence may require adjustments. People who have had cancer and are at risk for developing lymphedema follow a specific sequence created to keep them safe and empowered.
Certain poses can be contra-indicated if someone is at risk of developing lymphedema. Lisa developed yoga sequences that you can safely practice at home without the risk of inflammation or injury.
